Beautiful piece! Looks even nicer in person. I paid for subcontractors off Angi's list, through Wayfair, to handle the assembly. That went well. Very nice men who were efficient and kind. They had it assembled in 2 1/2 hours and it would have taken me at least a full day. You pay extra for this and it is worth the fee. There are three areas on the piece that need to be replaced by Wayfair (contacting them tomorrow). A door that is warped and does not match up with the door next to it, a flaw in the center main door, and a door that does not soft close as it should. The soft close feature is so nice on all the other doors and drawers. The handles are beautiful and nicely made. The color of the armoire is gorgeous. My house was a flip and they didn't really provide me with a coat closet; this took care of that in an awkward, unused corner of a hallway. I also replaced the hardware to match the cabinets in the rest of my house (it comes with some cheaper black plastic ones, pictured before and after I replaced them with brass handles). The bad: some pieces aren't pre-drilled so you're boring into the MDF with screws. In other cases, the pre-bored holes might be mis-aligned. For instance, on the right side door, the lock is pre-drilled too far away from the striker tab, so it doesn't lock; this isn't a big issue as I wasn't planning on using this for securing anything. Husband and wife tag team to put together the armoire. The first one took 2 hours, the second one took 1.5 hours and the third one took 1 hour so in total 4.5 hrs. We received this around the 16th but decided (after seeing the 26 page book) to come back and pay a pro. Best decision ever! He was finished in 1 & 1/2 hours! (It had one deep scratch on the top but unless you're on a step stool or very tall, you won't notice), otherwise it's beautiful and the white matches our new bed perfectly! I did add a motion sensor light to each side and will probably add a few more under the shelves. (The strong smell others have mentioned was there ... until we turned our air purifier on (directly in front of the wardrobe) for several hours.) Love it!
