Beautiful piece! Looks even nicer in person. I paid for subcontractors off Angi's list, through Wayfair, to handle the assembly. That went well. Very nice men who were efficient and kind. They had it assembled in 2 1/2 hours and it would have taken me at least a full day. You pay extra for this and it is worth the fee. There are three areas on the piece that need to be replaced by Wayfair (contacting them tomorrow). A door that is warped and does not match up with the door next to it, a flaw in the center main door, and a door that does not soft close as it should. The soft close feature is so nice on all the other doors and drawers. The handles are beautiful and nicely made. The color of the armoire is gorgeous. We received this around the 16th but decided (after seeing the 26 page book) to come back and pay a pro. Best decision ever! He was finished in 1 & 1/2 hours! (It had one deep scratch on the top but unless you're on a step stool or very tall, you won't notice), otherwise it's beautiful and the white matches our new bed perfectly! I did add a motion sensor light to each side and will probably add a few more under the shelves. (The strong smell others have mentioned was there ... until we turned our air purifier on (directly in front of the wardrobe) for several hours.) Love it! I wasn't expecting to like this product so much! The good: very clean lines, easy to assemble, and easy to adjust the doors. My house was a flip and they didn't really provide me with a coat closet; this took care of that in an awkward, unused corner of a hallway. I also replaced the hardware to match the cabinets in the rest of my house (it comes with some cheaper black plastic ones, pictured before and after I replaced them with brass handles). The bad: some pieces aren't pre-drilled so you're boring into the MDF with screws. In other cases, the pre-bored holes might be mis-aligned. For instance, on the right side door, the lock is pre-drilled too far away from the striker tab, so it doesn't lock; this isn't a big issue as I wasn't planning on using this for securing anything. The house is very old where they used to have very small closets. I was looking for a "built-in" look and these were the perfect size! I am putting them together by myself (directions say it needs 2 people) but I was able to assemble the 1st one no problem. The wardrobe is very sturdy when assembled. I have the first one all put together and need to put the drawers and doors on the second one. I am very happy with the color! I may replace the gold knobs if I find some more whimsical ones, but this will help eliminate the 2 portable clothes racks that have graced my bedroom since I bought this old house! It’s nice. I think it’s beautiful and has a lot of storage space. The hinges and doors are difficult to align (they are still misaligned for now - too frustrating. Will reapproach later). It's nice, sturdy, and spacious wardrobe. In the instruction, it says that it takes 3,5 hours to assemble it...boy, it took us 3,5 days we started on November 3rd, and fully finished on November 5th. My hubby had his birthday on November 4rt, so now we are laughing that he was 46 years old when he started assembling the wardrobe and turned 47 when he finished it was extremely difficult because neither screws nor parts were labeled so we had to figure out what goes where...but we didi it. Here’s very detailed review this armoire looks so nice and sturdy. All pieces are hard accept the back is like a strong card board this is why I put 4 stars plus the third picture show a small crack on one piece upon opening. It’s big inside and deep will give me enough storage. It took me 3 hours to assemble it. I was able to do it alone but got some extra hands only when needed to be moved or ehen needed to put it up.
