It's small enough that I believe I can putty and paint it myself since my husband already discarded the packaging. The number one benefit of this step stool is that I did not have to put it together. It arrived ready to use, which immediately made me feel like I had made excellent life choices. And it is sturdy as hell. An elephant could stand on this thing. I’m not kidding. I’m not recommending you invite an elephant into your home for testing purposes, but if one happened to wander in and needed to reach the top shelf, I think we’d all be fine. We got this bunk bed with storage for our kids, and it has been a total game changer for their room. Super cute, my toddler was so excited. Took about 2.5 hours to build. Downside is the casters had to be left off or the drawers are too high to properly close all the way. Wish the support beams came with a few additional pieces so my husband and I felt more secure when laying in it with him to put him to sleep but overall sturdy enough. We also had to buy corner cushions for the pieces by the stairs because they are pretty sharp and my toddler slipped on the stairs and got a small cut by his eye when he hit the rails by the steps.. This is very sturdy and well-built. It took my husband about 3 hours to assemble it himself (he is very into this kind of thing so it might take others a little longer). I only had to help lift the top bunk onto the pegs, but otherwise it was a solo job. There's plenty of room on the bottom bunk for my kid to sit up and when my other kid wiggles up top, it's not super squeaky or wobbly for the bottom kid.
