Five games live in one case here, so game night stops depending on what somebody remembered to bring. The top plays chess and checkers, then flips to reveal backgammon underneath, and below that sits a recessed Chinese checkers board that keeps marbles from rolling away mid-game. Two drawers in the side hold every piece, so nothing goes missing between sessions. The leatherette finish wipes clean and looks at home on a coffee table, and the whole set packs up to travel with you.

This set comes with an attractive storage box with a carry strap and a cloth chessboard. The plastic pieces are made of rugged, waterproof, and UV-resistant injection-molded, hollow plastic. Light enough to take on any outing, you can count on people (especially kids) to walk up and make friends! And yes, you can weight these pieces! Find the hole in the base as a soft spot in felt. For the ultimate chess-playing experience, we have developed a chess set that is larger than life! Standing at 16 inches tall, the big, but not huge, pieces included in this set are designed to be indestructible, making them perfect for outdoor settings, as well as commercial settings in which they are likely to be used by scores of people. The pieces are very light, weighing about 8 to 17 ounces each, which enables them to be easily moved by young children. They have the ability to be made heavier as well. Simply drill a hole at the bottom of each piece, fill it with fine sand, and seal it back up with adhesive. These chess pieces are designed to withstand the most extreme weather conditions. We have set in the heat of the Middle East, the humidity of the Far East, the cold of the Rocky Mountains, and the sun, sand, and salty air of Southern California.

This is so fun during th summer.. Josie. Mon Apr 20 2026

A fun game for any occasion, the four-in-a-row is perfect for all ages. With a metal-plated finish and frosted playing pieces, this elevated twist on the classic game also doubles as a unique piece of decor to display in your home. Modern brass metal finish and frosted playing pieces create an eye-catching look on any table or counter space. The metal wire stopper keeps pieces and place and provides a simple, and decorative design.

I really love the look of this game set. The design fits perfectly with my living room decor, which was honestly the main reason I purchased it. It has a much more polished and decorative look than the traditional version, so I’m happy to leave it out as part of the room. My only complaint is the way the pieces are removed after each game. Unlike the original game this is modeled after, there isn’t a release lever at the bottom, so you have to manually tip or dump the pieces out before setting it back up again. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does make resetting the game a little less convenient. Overall, I’m still happy with it because the aesthetic is exactly what I wanted.. Daynell. Dallas, TX.
