The shades fit nicely, and the instructions (though hardly needed) were clear and straightforward. The quality is impressive for the price. The bases have a substantial feel, the finish looks even better in person, and the linen shades give off a warm, inviting light. Gorgeous lamp! I am so impressed with this beautiful lamp. The green linen shade is the perfect color for a Mid-Century palette, but always is neutral enough to work with a variety of styles. Nice lamps but I don’t care for the lampshades thy come with. The original shades are Fairly easy to assemble. The fabric has some weight and it attaches with velco at the back.
