Easy to put together. Lighter weight than I thought so it moves around easily … sometimes a good thing sometimes not such a good thing. Yes 4 people can sit and eat with plates and beverages and a salt shaker in the center but everyone is sitting close enough to see the pores in each other’s faces. No room for serving dishes so we eat buffet style. Not a problem for two or even three at the table. The “cracks” in the table top that simulate wood slats are just food crumb collectors so cleaning means getting a potato brush or toothpick to scrape them out when you wipe it off … best to use a table cloth. Bought this for my mom’s new place. I’ve been putting a lot of furniture together recently and this was actually not that hard to put together. I will say- you have to pay attention to every picture because I definitely ended up putting 2 parts together wrong and then needed to back track slightly. It still only took 2.5hrs for me to put together and i only needed mild help with lining up the screws and holes since lifting a part of the island and lining them up was difficult. If you are someone who hates allen wrenches i have great news - this is put together almost 100% with just plain old screws and a screwdriver. The last part does use an allen wrench but only for 8 screws and it is done. All the parts are labeled and for the most part packaged in order of the parts you need. The MDF table top is very easy to clean and maintain. The 1.347 "thick table top can be used for a long time without deformation. Four carbon steel legs support a stable table. The bottom is equipped with anti-slip rubber pads to protect the floor and maintain stability. This leather dining chair is made of high-quality PU leather and wrapped with high elastic sponge, comfortable and easy to clean. The U-shaped cushion relaxes the hip muscles, and the carbon steel legs will not deform.

Ok let's talk chairs! When using in a rental upholstery is a nightmare and solid would is so heavy. I wanted something with cushion, not bulky, easy to wipe off and would fit and move nicely in and out around the table. These are the chairs you want!
