This Queen size bed headboard has three height sizes and storage! Assembly was about 4-5 hours, however another person was needed to add the hydraulic platform. Every part assembled was sturdy and seemed to be well made. I was expecting, maybe some sort of “board” to be at the bottom of the storage area instead of just a piece of material. However, it will definitely work as a dust guard. The framing fabric is soft and tightly woven (I didn’t see any loose thread). The hydraulic lift is controlled with a strap, and also has a locking strap to prevent uncontrolled pop-ups and the slats have attachment connectors to stay positioned. This is gorgeous when it comes together, but man is it laborious to put together. The instructions aren’t great, and it took four of us 2.5 hours to put it together . I’m really happy with this bed. It was surprisingly easy to assemble, and all the pieces fit together well. Once assembled, the bed feels very sturdy and solid, and it looks even better in person. One of my favorite features is the storage drawer underneath the bed. The drawer has wheels, so it slides in and out very easily, and it’s perfect for storing extra blankets, pillows, clothes, or other things that I don’t want sitting around the room. I also really like the thoughtful design of the slats. There is Velcro along the slat area that helps keep everything securely in place, so the slats don’t move around easily when the bed is being used. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference. It arrived in 2 weeks after purchase. Well packed and efficiently delivered. No damages. I took off a star because of a few issues 1) the assembly instructions are inconsistent. The corner where the sideboards and the headboard connect have two bolts. The instructions implye that they should be at the same level, such that the corner adapter can slide in hand fasten them together .However they were not. 2) one of the groves on the metal frame could not geip the screw provided. we got this bed as an upgrade for our daughters room. It was relatively easy to put together, but pay close attention to the instructions. it does come with four storage drawers, but they are made out of a very thin plastic material so the most you can store in there is some light blankets, etc. the color of the bed is a cream color so darker than the picture shows. Beautiful bed, well packaged, and easy to assemble. The drawers underneath aren't attached to anything. They just roll on the floor, which i dont love but isnt a big deal. The only other thing I dont love is with just a mattress the bed is really low but if you add a box spring then you wouldn't be able to really see the headboard. I am in love with my bed. I got mine in the beige. I will say this bed is not cheaply made at all considering the price and I caught it on sale! It looks very high-end and it is very sturdy. Also with the hydraulic lift, I was able to put a zero-clearance adjustable base with no problem. One portion of my sideboard was damaged in transit, (the box was dinted and it damaged the sideboard) and Wayfair shipped the replacement immediately with no issues.
