I looked at so many chandeliers to find the right one to replace the old dark amethyst crystal chandelier that was hanging in our house when we bought it 13 years ago. We needed something simple and airy, and I was drawn to this fixture because of that. I ordered during Way Days, so it was a great buy. I put it together myself while watching TV with my daughter. It was like doing a puzzle! The electrician removed the old fixture and installed this one (with a medallion from a local hardware store that I painted with ceiling paint).
