These seem to be very well made (in Vietnam). They come in one piece and the packaging was expertly done with no damage to the 4 chairs. They seem very solid. It apprears to be a manufactureing or shipping issue. On top of that, the shipping was delayed, which made the wait frustrating. I hope the seller improves on both fronts. This is a nice set of stools. Even though they are solid wood, they seem a little light weight. They sit at a nice height for use at a countertop or kitchen island. The seat portion is nice and wide. The seat is comfortable except if you’re wearing shorts because the banana leaf rush seat is a little rough in the skin. I only gave them four stars because one of the holes for the leg bolts didn’t accept the bolt very well and my husband and I had to really struggle with it which was frustrating. These chairs arrived on time and packaged very well. The assembly time was about an hour or two of them not too difficult for one person.
