Very nice all wood (cedar maybe?) stool that looks nice enough for the living room. We just needed a small stool in a couple of spots to have a way to reach up and pull the shades down, so this design fit the need perfectly. There was only one small problem, the top of one of the two units had a noticeable large gouge in the top. The seat does look like it’s 6” thick, but important to note that its hollow underneath - the actual padding on the seat is no more than 1.5 to 2 inches. Not terribly comfortable, but it looks nice and fits our space just fine. It went together fairly easily by my husband who is quite handy - I would not have been able to do it myself as there were MANY parts to deal with. The chair, from what I saw my husband construct looked fine. Fabric was lovely and true to colour. Manufacturer made an error in pieces so we returned. Due to requiring chairs for a family function that weekend, we purchased chairs from a furniture shop in Winnipeg so we did not reorder same. GREAT QUALITY!!! The arms are solid wood and assembly is really simple. The only be careful is to make sure the seat base is completely centered regarding front and back. Its attached via pocket hole screws and if not properly placed, the screws will drill completely through and be exposed.
