This is a great bowl for my dogs who normally inhale their food when eating out of regular bowls. I prefer to avoid plastic and was delighted to discover that they are made in stainless steel. These are great bowls and slow my furballs down considerably. The rubber rim prevents the bowl from sliding around. My only criticism is that I wish the rubber rim was permanent, vs removable because the are a little tricky to get back on. Overall, I'm very happy with these bowls.. Michele. Monument, CO. Crafted from food-grade, high-temperature fired ceramic and paired with a sturdy rust-proof metal stand, this raised feeder features a 9cm elevated height to reduce neck strain, improve digestion, and prevent vomiting—ideal for cats, kittens, and small dogs.

My cat loves the height of the stand. The stand is lightweight metal mesh. I don’t think I’d use it for multiple cats that try to push their way into the bowl before their siblings. It might tip over if cats are vying for position. It works for my solo five year old cat. The vibrant color of the bowl also makes it hard to miss on the floor—I’ve been using a glass plate recently and I’ll admit to treading on it a few times. This is a great solution for me.. Debra.
