The ceramic shell figurine was delivered today as I was told it would. It was packaged extremely well and delivered very carefully, it is so nice in every way. I will be displayng it in my “beach” themed bedroom on a shelf next to my seashell wall hangings and tiny basket of seashells. It is a perfect addition and size. Please note - the edges of the shell have been slightly shaped (as best possible) from their natural state to prevent injury. The shells in their natural state can cause injury. This is not a defect and the shell isn't damaged. Processing sometimes involves edges being sawn off entirely to reduce injury. Also, each conch shell will have a visible hole or slit on its back. This is called a harvest hole. The harvest hole is required by US Customs and FL Fish & Wildlife to meet mandatory guidelines for importing this particular type of shell.
