For the ultimate chess-playing experience, we have developed a chess set that is larger than life! Standing at 12 inches tall, the big, but not huge, pieces included in this set are designed to be indestructible, making them perfect for outdoor settings, as well as commercial settings in which they are likely to be used by scores of people. The pieces are very light, weighing about 4 to 6 ounces each, which enables them to be easily moved by young children. They have the ability to be made heavier as well. Simply drill a hole at the bottom of each piece, fill it with fine sand and seal it back up with adhesive. These chess pieces are designed to withstand the most extreme of weather conditions. We have set in the heat of the Middle East, the humidity of the far East, the cold of the Rocky Mountains, and in the sun, sand, and salty air of Southern California. Extra-large pieces made of rugged, waterproof, anti-UV injection-molded plastic; resists staining and fading, even when exposed to the elements. Big enough to be more fun than average-size chess sets, but lightweight enough to take with you to outings. Weight-adjustable. Potential to inspire children to learn strategy & logic. Great for beginners. Perfect for lawn games, wedding events, backyard fun, pubs, wineries, chess clubs, schools, hotels, resorts, campgrounds, special events & more!
Fun way to learn how to play chess! Pieces are big enough for 4’ children to walk up to and move around. Perfect set up in the dining room on a hot So Cal Summer Day!. Crystal. US. Tue Aug 01 2023
