Sun Pottery Classic Bird Bath has a unique, strong, locking device (not plastic). All Alcott Hill® glazed pottery and bird baths are fired in gas kilns. These are significantly more environmentally friendly than the large, standard, wood-fired "Dragon" kilns used by most of Alcott Hill® competitors. The "Dragon" kilns burn a huge amount of rubber wood at each firing which is very bad for the environment and doesn't provide even firing for the product. Alcott Hill® gas Kilns ensure more even colors and better quality products because the temperature is controllable; unlike that in the wood-fired kilns. Durable frostproof construction (up to 32 degrees F.).

Wonderful addition to our front landscaping. Very attractive.. Judith. Bostic, NC. Sat Sep 26 2026

This is a nice bird bath. I wanted one that blends into my yard and wasn’t ornate and this fits that bill perfectly. It is hollow inside so it does need to be on solid, flat ground. Note that it isn’t perfectly level at its base so while it sits just fine it is at a slight angle - you can see where the water isn’t level in the bowl. There is no base stake so not sure why that is in the title but it isn’t needed and not sure how it would work anyway. And most importantly, the birds came right to and have continued to use it.. I like the dragonfly designs on the bird feeder. It is very attractive and my birds are loving it. I wish the feeder tube was made of glass. It is a little hard to fill and if the feeder tube is knocked off slightly while filling it, it is hard to situate it back on. Overall, the metal design is very attractive and sturdy and I am happy with the purchase. The 4 stars is because of the lightweight plastic tube feeder.. Aurelia. Grants Pass, OR. Sun Sep 28 2025
