I needed a contemporary copper outdoor fixtures that wouldn't patina and came in did rent sizes. The Coan Ceramic light is prettier than pictured, I'm very happy it. I was surprised to discover that the square white frosted areas are not glass but a sheet of plastic and I am concerned that it may yellow or crack over time but can easily be replaced.. Jefferie. I am updating my master bathroom. I was looking for an exterior lamp due to the constant moisture in a small room. I fell in love with this lamp. When my electrician installed them, the manufacturer recommended to place it so the bulb is facing down. I am not tall and the placement of the bulb was to strong for my eyes, we tried placing them so the bulb faces up and it is so fabulous! The fixture is nice size and comes with the LED bulb. I looked everywhere for some Arizona designs. So happy to find these Kokopeli designs. We had just painted our house so I had plenty of leftover paint. Once I set everything up, I decided the best mode of attack would be to spray paint in copper. We took out the "guts" and sprayed the whole thing. Then took the trim from our house and used that for the trim areas. They look fabulous. If you do the same thing, when you put the tape on to paint the trim, be sure to press down really well (I did not and had to do touch up on the copper) because of the texture on the sconce.
