This is a nice bird bath. I wanted one that blends into my yard and wasn’t ornate and this fits that bill perfectly. It is hollow inside so it does need to be on solid, flat ground. Note that it isn’t perfectly level at its base so while it sits just fine it is at a slight angle - you can see where the water isn’t level in the bowl. There is no base stake so not sure why that is in the title but it isn’t needed and not sure how it would work anyway. And most importantly, the birds came right to and have continued to use it.. Set up a little while ago layers snap but don’t seem very tight. Its much louder streaming than I thought, tried adjusting pump but haven’t gotten it to sound smoother trickling. The top bubbler is very wobbly. All in all the fountain looks nice just need to tweak the pump I guess. Not very easy to adjust the pump sine it’s enclosed. Edit I contacted the company about the solar panel and topper that weren’t working properly. I was sent a new solar panel (different style) and it works great! This fountain is very easy to assemble, producing a soft bubbling sound that cannot be heard at a distance, and little to minimal splash. This fountain has heavy components and may require lifting assistance.
