Our urethane coffered ceilings are careful, ensuring an authentic look, and compared to wood, they are lightweight, easy to install, and have zero issues with rot, termites, or warping. What was once considered an expensive luxury, is now an affordable pursuit for a home that defines you.

nicely made polystyrene pieces which are well designed, but require an expert carpenter for a quality installation due to slight variations from piece to piece, injected molded from similar but not identical molds. Per my carpenter, these were convenient, but required a tremendous of finesse and adjustments at every miter joint to look right. Quality glue (PL Premium) and a solid substrate that will not move (a grid of 1x3's glued and screwed to ceiling joists) are essential for stability. Overall "a wash" in terms of time and expense compared to having full boxes and mouldings constructed the old fashioned way. For the curved bay windows straight pieces needed to be hollowed out, bent, and carefully glued and tacked in place under high tension. These tiles were exactly what I was looking for. It's important to note that with this design, the center square goes above the ceiling grid vs. sitting below it, so this is perfect for my application as the basement in my home is quite low in some areas where there is duct work, allowing me to optimize head space versus other designs that droop below the ceiling grid. Keep in mind you may have issues with delivery as I had several times due to damaged edges, but Wayfair had solved the issue promptly and sent me replacement tiles free of charge. Vincent. EZ-On Drop Ceiling Grid Covers are exactly what their name implies - the easiest way to make your old standard (15/16 in. to 1 in.) grid look like new. Made from 100% recyclable rigid vinyl, they color match Ceilume's Black ceiling tiles, color coordinate with Ceilume's Bronze, Tin, and Random Gray ceiling tiles, cover clean or dirty grid, and require no special tools or adhesive to install. Main Covers install along your suspended ceiling's main beams and cross T's (basically every section that doesn't run along a wall). They have a tab at one end to cover grid intersections and a lip that allows the cover to "click" into place. Wall Angle Covers install everywhere your grid runs along a wall. They slide easily onto your wall angle and are pre-cut to fit 2ft. x 2 ft. grid sections perfectly. Trim with scissors as needed in corners, and use three pieces for 2 ft. x 4 ft. sections.

These are a great upgrade if installing the coordinating ceiling tiles, however, because there are so many of them, it is a tedius task and time consuming.
