This light is easy to install and gives off great light. The light base is larger than a standard ceiling outlet box to cover any imperfections in the sheetrock. You can put it over the fireplace to illuminate an artwork or shine light on a statue in the corner of the room. You can also use it to light up a small pantry, a kitchen island, or a laundry room. We will be installing the lighting this weekend, but so far, it looks like it's going to be great for where I want to use it. We will be placing it over a portion of our kitchen counter that is very dark and has lots of shadows after losing daylight from the window. I've tried several options that just haven't panned out, so I think the ability to rotate and aim each light in different directions will really brighten up the area of our kitchen.
