It’s probably not healthy to be obsessed with lamp shades, but here we are. I love these shades. They are quite nice in person with finished edges. I originally bought one shade and intended to use it on a table lamp, but it didn’t look quite right. I hated the stock shades that came with my wall lights and decided to try this shade on one of them. It was perfect. The shades then went out of stock, but I waited patiently and was rewarded. I now have a pair of shades.. Catherine. Kansas City, MO. Sat May 09 2026

I thought the black shades had yellow metal inside, but they are fully black. This actually turned to advantage as they reflect any color light bulb you put inside. They seem to work well with the wooden base and black power cords I had. The opening on the top is about 2 inches (it was not in the product detail). Olga. New York, NY. Tue Jun 13 2023

Such a simple thing, lampshades, but I dreaded going store-to-store to find replacements after 20 years of owning a pair of candelabra lamps. In just a few clicks, I located the exact pair of lampshades on the Wayfair website! These lamps sit on top of a Victorian-style dresser, part of a bedroom set purchased in the late 1990s. The picture shows how I prepared the bedroom for the arrival of my elderly parents who, because of my mother's health, came to live with my husband and me in 2024.. Cheryl. Keller, TX. This Slip Uno Adapter Converts your Standard Lampshade to fit on the Slip Uno Lamp Base. Did you ever have trouble finding a UNO fitter shade? This is common because most replacement shades have standard spider fitters aka washer fitters. Will this fit your lamp? Our Uno opening is 1 7/16" which is the most common size, so be sure to measure your bulb socket to make sure the diameter is less than 1 7/16". Slip Uno adapters are made to fit directly over a plastic lamp socket found on lamps usually purchased at many popular retail stores. Uno fitter shades are difficult to find, so this adapter lets you use standard washer fitter shades on your uno lamp base. This adapter attaches directly to the harp, allowing the use of nearly any replacement lampshade. Harp is 14" tall and the height from the bottom Uno ring to the top plate is 14", so this fitter works best with shades that are about 17" tall. Polished brass finish.

The fitter works very well put takes maneuvering to get straight with my lamp and shade. I painted it to better work with my decor and it looks just as I’d hoped.. Homeowner. Montana. Fri Jul 03 2026
