Sturdy! These things won’t sag or pop out of these walls anytime soon. The number of rods I’ve had fail on me with my curtains is baffling. There is no way these are ever being weighed down. I ordered 2 brackets in the color bronze. The brackets are heavy duty, and you can tell they’re made with quality materials. These are going to be perfect for our heavy drapes. However, I will caution you against the color. We ordered the bronze but it arrived more like a chocolate brown color. There were hardly any visible metallic undertones as you would expect in a bronze item. We were able to sand them and paint them using some bronze spray paint we had on hand, so they work - but be careful when choosing your color.. Richard. Rockingham, VA. Wed Oct 14 2026

I didnt use these as they were intended. I have a long shelf in my pottery studio that needed a bumper rail of sorts. Attaching them to the top of the shelf and using a dowl or pvc pipe (I havent decided yet) to keep items on the shelf. This works great. My shelf brackets and clock are also from Wayfair.
