Easy to paint (comes primed), easy to install. This was a little smaller than I anticipated (assumed it would be the same size as a similar medallion from the same brand, silly me) but it is a subdued, elegant touch to upgrade a fixture I still want to replace! I really like it because I use faux styrofoam ceiling tiles to cover ugly ceilings after scraping popcorn texture (and to avoid drywall repair and re-texturing). Stunning well made very unique it's thick and has a lot of depth. It's one of the best small medallions, small in size but still a wow. Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That masterpiece is then used to create a mold master. Once the mold master is created we use our high-density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, lightweight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to the original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high-density urethane and not vacuum-formed, plastic-type medallions. Medallions are lightweight for easy installation and come primed and ready for paint. These are in stock and available for immediate shipment. Our whole one-piece medallions are cut in two for you, making installation a breeze.

Exactly what I needed to cover up a large hole in my ceiling when I installed a new light fixture.
