Decent fan for the price. Instructions were very basic without a great deal of detail. Had to do some research on the web to clarify wiring questions. But, all in all, assembly was not difficult and the fan seems to be quiet and has several speed andlighting modes. Remote is useful. Tips: 1. If your outlet has red, black, and white wires, only the black and white are connected to fan; cap the red with a wire nut. 2. Green and yellow wire on bracket connects to ground. 3. You may need to replace two existing screws on motor with longer screws in order to secure the ceiling cover. 4. A flat screw driver set is very helpful in securing those two screws because the space between the cover and motor housing is tight. 5. Some bolt holes were too small for the bolts supplied. I love this fan. My (electrician) installed it with ease. Loving that I can change the lighting from cool to bright. The fan works well. I was surprised that the wall switch is powered by batteries rather than being wired in. Absolutely gorgeous!!! The fan is rather small so not sure how much of cooling affect it will put off but honestly not a big deal for my use. This fan is remote controlled, which is awesome!
