This was a very good option for kid's room that has a bunkbed. The adjustable lighting and fan via remote control is very helpful, as well as the timer option. I think I viewed a thousand different enclosed ceiling fans with lights until I found the one I liked. It needed to be as low profile as possible since it’s going above a loft bed, and not look cheap. Also a dimmer/different settings. The RGB light option is a bonus. I like that the plastic grill on this one has straight lines, it looks more expensive in my opinion. Installation was ok, the plug for the remote housing kept coming off and getting the lamp screwed into the mounting was manageable for me with smaller hands, but may be difficult for larger hands due to the low profile nature of the unit.. I absolutely love this fan! I had an electrician put it up for me. He said it was very easy to assemble and it took about a half hour. I love that it has numerous light and color settings.
