Why in the world the previous owner installed white ceiling fans on a brown house is beyond me!! I hated the old fan, how dirty it was and how it didn't match the exterior of the house in any way at all. So, I stumbled upon this GREENEVER outdoor ceiling fan and knew it would be perfect! The fan was fairly easy to install (cramming the remote box into the housing without crimping wires is always the hardest part!). Bought3 fans from this company. The work fine and are quiet. My two problems are 1. I choose the recommended size braised on the manufacturer. I would go larger to increase the air flow. Secondly, is the little tiny control that does not respond immediately. We have the fan on full speed at night but it is a chore to turn light on. The black remote is for the fan of the photo I sent. Ok, this is just the “coolest” fan…..ever! Looks and operates exactly as it is described. Delivery box and contents arrived in perfect condition. It is pretty heavy! I’ve put up my share of ceiling fans, but opted for a professional installer this time. Glad I did, as he built some much needed support beams in the ceiling, to ensure it was stable. Plan on buying a large medallion to affix to the ceiling. Looks better, IMO… The electrician even needed my assistance to complete the install, so be sure to have some help. Totally worth it!
