The streamlined design of this solid brass 6-inch canopy features a flat top and sloped sides with a matching loop and screw collar for a cohesive look. This canopy is perfect for modern fixtures, but it's so universally appealing that it also complements art deco, minimalist, Scandinavian, industrial, traditional, rustic, and transitional chandeliers or pendant lights. Install on sloped or flat ceilings with electrical boxes 6 inches and under to hang fixtures up to 75 lbs. Instantly transform any chandelier or pendant light in your foyer, kitchen, dining room, bar area, living room, bathroom, bedroom, or guest room. The canopy plate itself has a 1.34-inch center hole and measures 0.71 inches tall to provide plenty of room for the mounting kit and wiring to comfortably fit within the plate - ensuring no hardware is exposed. Once installed, the matching loop extends 3.23 inches from the canopy plate and has a wire way that can accommodate fixture wires up to 0.33 inches thick. With a wide variety of today's most popular hardware finishes to choose from, enhancing your light fixture has never been easier! The canopy kit includes a canopy plate, a matching loop with screw collar, assembly instructions, along with the following mounting hardware: a 2-inch long 1/4 IPS threaded pipe, 2 bolt screws, a hex nut, and a 4-13/16-inch long heavy duty steel crossbar with a grounding screw. Please note: since this is a heavy-duty canopy, the thickness of the loop is 0.33 inches and only a handful of our connectors and unwelded chains can open up enough to accommodate this size. Please ensure your existing connecting hardware can open up far enough to attach to the canopy. If your existing connectors won't work with this canopy or if you need connectors, please contact us and we will happily assist.

We purchased 3 different medallions to look at them in person. decide on one return the rest. They were so gorgeous we couldn’t choose readily, but have a couple light fixtures we can use them with. So we kept them all. Love them. Only recommendation is check where the light fixture attaches to the electrical box. Some medallion style are not deep so may not cover up fixture side screws.. Dab. The simple installation of this medallion is a great way to hide a hole if an opening in the ceiling is cut too large. It ended up working for us ok, but it was not as expected. The description said the sizes was a range up to 19”, but gave the orderer no place to choose a size so we were not sure exactly what would show up when it got here. What we got was a 15 3/4” medallion. It just barely fit, but we made it work after doing a bit of wall boarding.. Judith. Derry, NH. Mon Mar 09 2026

This ceiling medallion added an element of historic design to my renovation. Note that the bluish areas in the photo are actually cut out, and when installed, your ceiling will show through in those spots. Center area around the opening is thicker than the edges. I changed out the light plate cover to a deeper profile. Applied easily with construction adhesive and temporarily held in place with tape till the adhesion dried. So lightweight, that you can alter the opening with an Xacto knife.. Keenkathy. Arizona. Mon Jun 22 2015
