Beautiful piece! Looks even nicer in person. I paid for subcontractors off Angi's list, through Wayfair, to handle the assembly. That went well. Very nice men who were efficient and kind. They had it assembled in 2 1/2 hours and it would have taken me at least a full day. You pay extra for this and it is worth the fee. There are three areas on the piece that need to be replaced by Wayfair (contacting them tomorrow). A door that is warped and does not match up with the door next to it, a flaw in the center main door, and a door that does not soft close as it should. The soft close feature is so nice on all the other doors and drawers. The handles are beautiful and nicely made. The color of the armoire is gorgeous. I also replaced the hardware to match the cabinets in the rest of my house (it comes with some cheaper black plastic ones, pictured before and after I replaced them with brass handles). The bad: some pieces aren't pre-drilled so you're boring into the MDF with screws. In other cases, the pre-bored holes might be mis-aligned. For instance, on the right side door, the lock is pre-drilled too far away from the striker tab, so it doesn't lock; this isn't a big issue as I wasn't planning on using this for securing anything. This wardrobe is very nice looking, with tons of storage space. Perfect for my 1940’s house with tiny closets! I assembled the whole thing by myself and it took about 8 hours total. It coms in 4 sections, so it’s very easy to spread the assembly out over a couple of days. The sections without drawers took about 1.5 hr each, and the sections without drawers were 2.5 hrs each. Really not bad at all considering the size of this thing. This is not heirloom furniture by any means, but it’s sturdy enough for what I need.
