This bunkbed is really nice looking and solid and a great bargain. The bed gets 5 stars. HOWEVER, assembly was an atrocious process and would earn negative stars. None of the parts were labeled. Each piece had multiple patterns of holes on several sides and trying to line them up facing the proper way was a process. The instructions are almost nonexistent- just very small pictures with confusing arrows everywhere. Once everything was lined up appropriately it really wasn’t hard to put together but labels and written instructions would make a huge difference. We are thrilled with our two twin bunk beds! Our bunk room is small, but we needed to be able to comfortably fit our 3 kids with an option for visitors. My requirements a small footprint, ladders that could be on either side or an end, solid wood and a modern look. All of our Cedar Log Furniture is crafted using northern white cedar. We harvest our cedar locally from its Minnesota location. We even operate our own cedar sawmill that produces the lumber for our furniture!
