Cedar Bread Box

Bread box, solid wood oak bread box for kitchen countertop, double layer bread container for bread storage, large capacity breadbox with a clear window.

Really like this bread box. Note, that the magnets to hold up bottom door are TOO small do not work. Bought stick on magnets at the craft store, door stay closed now.. Sharon. Crows Landing, CA. Sat May 30 2026

Classic elegance converges with convenience in this tasteful cedar chest, available in a variety of finishes. Find plenty of space to stash linens and essentials in a chest trimmed with a decorative sunflower accent, making it an excellent choice for bedrooms and main living spaces. A wood storage chest is a necessary accommodation for any home. This solid wood chest has simple elegant lines and a sturdy demeanor. Roomy enough for a collection of seasonal bedding or family photo albums. If you're storing surprise gifts for an upcoming birthday or even for the holiday season, you'll be happy that the lid features a lock.

I recieved my cedar chest and took one look at the box and was afraid to open. But all i saw was a dent on the top of the front. With that i went ahead and put together. No big problems. Just follow directions. It had to have been wrapped for shipment very well to have just sustained only that damage. The whole thing is not made by using 100% solid cedar or price would be much higher. But i wanted to store blankets i crochet and wollen sweaters and things of that. Cedar helps to keep bugs that love wool away. I had a beautiful light blue sweather that wasnt stored in cedar and i regretted because moth got to it and ate hole right in front. So after putting together just rubbed a little original cedarcide inside. I went on and notified wayfair about the picture of torn up box and picture of dent. Was contacted right then. Talk about fast. He asked for email and order number so he could see what the problem was. I didnt want new one just a few parts that were broken in bag and 1 missig. Great person to talk to. Its hard to find stores that stand behind their products and feedback like that. Thank you to Wayfair and the people who respect not only good feedback but about a probleem you encoutered.. Debra. The plastic is a bummer but most products came with plastic. I hate plastic. But the piece is nice in every other regard. We are going to replace it with glass. This piece is large . Big footprint. It has all the room we need for bread, rolls, our cookies, crackers....we like it. It would be great for a shop or a lunchroom, a gathering place, etc. We would like it if it closed with magnets. It does not close well the way it is. It needs an extra push. But overall it was the best choice for us.. Laura. CA. Sat Oct 24 2026

While I love the little bread box, there were a couple of manufacturing issues. The holes were drilled wrong and patched, and the plastic on the windows is such a nightmare to peel off. Other than those, which are really not a big deal, the box works great. It was simple to put together. It is the right size for my loaves and it keeps them fresh.. Cassandra. Pine Valley, CA.
