This is an edit. I opened up the top and it split the wood. I can't prop it open as it would be dangerous for the cats. Disappointed, hope i get some response soon. Love this little cathouse! My husband and I built a deck to elevate the house for our two stray cats. They haven’t gone inside yet, but have been up on the deck to eat and check out the house. I have no doubt once they try it out they will love it❤️. It seems to be a fairly sturdy little house and was pretty easy to put together. I would have given it 5 stars but as you can see in the last picture one of the pieces came with a crack in it. We will seal the crack and I think it will be fine.. Tgreen. Missouri. Sat Aug 15 2026

This two-story cat house provides ample space for play and rest, ideal for both feral and indoor cats. It's made of 100% solid wood with a water-based coating, making it weather-resistant. The cat house features an escape door and jumping platforms. The waterproof asphalt roof makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and the removable central plank and oversized side doors make cleaning easy. Pre-drilled holes and a lockable tray for the second floor add convenience.

Love this little house! It's so adorable. It was a bit hard to assemble, especially the parts for the roof that opens, but I got it done in ~3 or so hours. Love the look! My cat is obsessed with being outside in our protected yard and sometimes refuses to come inside even when the weather changes for the worse. So I needed something to protect her. This little house does the trick beautifully. However, at first I thought my cat hated the house. For weeks she refused to go inside, and if I put her in, sge immediately ran out. I think it could be because of the smell of paint, which lingered for quite a while despite veing aired a lot. But after a few weeks, just when I lost all hope and thought she'd never like the house, I started finding her sleeping inside of it or standing atop of it curiously! Needless to say this now has our approval. Great buy! And it withstood heavy rain!. Anonymous. Fri Oct 16 2026

It looks great and good materials! My only concern is that I have a big cat (19lbs) who doesn’t seem too feel comfortable with going inside the cubby area so he only uses the bottom for his litter box and climbing up to eat and drink.. Tiffany. RI. Sat Sep 12 2026

My cat really loves it and scratches it every day, he’s a little on the bigger side so sometimes he hangs out the houses, but that was expected because it’s really hard to find an affordable cat tree for a large cat. A two-level wooden house for cats and small dogs that stays outside year round. The upper level is a covered balcony with a rail on three sides, so an animal can sit up high and watch the yard. The lower level is the enclosed den, reached through the front door or the side door - both fitted with clear PVC flaps that cut wind and rain without blocking sight or airflow. The frame is solid wood in black and ochre yellow, topped with a black asphalt felt roof sized at 23.6" x 22.8" to shed water away from the panels. Two short jump boards on the left side give smaller animals a step up, and a dark gray scratching mat on the right takes the abuse instead of the furniture indoors. Overall assembled size is about 23.6" W x 22.8" D x 29.5" H, with the main body at 20.5" square and the balcony rail standing 5.9" high. Each door opening measures about 8.3" x 9.1", and the jump boards are about 9.6" x 5.3" each. Plastic caps on all four feet lift the wood off wet ground. Assembly required.

It was easy to assemble. We have community kitties who are already checking it out. Great purchase!. Terra. Sylacauga, AL. Wed Oct 21 2026
