This poster bed is bound with a relaxed traditional look that is inspired by British colonial and campaign styling. Offering dreams of distant lands, an island inspiration is subtly defined in the woven cane headboard and turned posts of this bed. A removable canopy frame and a low-post option for the footboard provide an array of personalized options. Experience a distinctive design that offers a sense of a well-traveled life.

These are old pictures so don’t mind the mess, but I love that the bed looks black from afar but up close you can see the weathered espresso brown. Beware of the height though! I had to leave one of the top posts off in order to be able to still use the ceiling fan. I don’t mind that though. Anonymous. Thu Oct 08 2026

Beautiful bed my baby loved her bed added vines and lights. Ashly Marie. San Antonio, TX. Wed Oct 07 2026

This canopy bed infuses your main or guest bedroom with a sophisticated, classic style. The open frame is crafted from metal tubing and stands 72” high. We love that there is more than 12” of under-bed clearance, which is enough room for a couple of storage bins filled with seasonal apparel or extra bedding. This metal bed has sturdy slats that provide a solid foundation for your mattress. The system of slats eliminates the need for a box spring – simply top it with the standard mattress of your choice (sold separately). Besides, assembly is required, but from what we hear, it’s pretty straightforward.

I love this bed! I was thrilled to find the look and size of canopy bed in my price range that I was seeking after many failed Facebook marketplace attempts (and ghosts). It was pretty easy to put together though I do not recommend putting it together solo like I did- more of a two person job (just requires the included Allen wrench which was super convenient). It’s not necessarily top quality or super sturdy which makes sense considering the price, but it is fully functional and aesthetically pleasing. Probably not best for a super largeheavy person or multiple people (I’m only about 120 lbs). I feel like the middle support legs shift when I get on it because the crossbar slats are round and roll. This may be partially because I have a large air mattress and the slats roll against its relatively slick surface - it may not do this with a more typical fabric mattress. I put some large pieces of particle board (from the packaging of another Wayfair purchase) under the mattress to serve as sort of a bunky board that minimized this. Overall, I’m satisfied customer.. Beautiful bedframe super easy too build. Super easy to clean. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because we have an 8 Sleep mattress (heavier) had to lay down extra support beams. Will work perfectly with any normal mattress.. Haley. Hastings, MN. Wed Oct 07 2026
