Its hard to find the words describing the enthusiasm and pleasure I have already experienced since installing this fan. I am pleased both with the fan’s performance, and its absence from the well packed box in which arrived several months ago and in the interim has been assuming substantial space in my bedroom closet. The fan has four settings numbered one through four. Four being the fastest. As it accelerates to level four, the curtains begin to blow with the high velocity air movement. The item arrived well packaged and installation was relatively easy. The very last part of install was the light and there were two male connections instead of a male female, but just cut the end off and hardwired it not a big deal. I was looking for something for our guest room in our Florida home that would help make our guests feel they were on vacation and this fit the bill. We've thrilled with our purchase. The only negative is that the remote changes the light warmth but not necessarily the brightness - there is no dimming option on remote. This modern white fan is so much better looking than our outdated brown fan! It is sleek and since we have it attached to switches in our bedroom, we didn't even need to install the pull-chains. My husband has installed several fans and said this one wasn't the easiest to install. I love the look of it BUT the light is truly laughable. It is like a spotlight....shines directly downward and does not emit any light to the sides so basically we just have one spotlight in the middle of our room. We bought 3 fans, 3 different sizes. We have installed 1 of them at this point. The fan has a simple, clean style. It works well, cools the room on low speed. We like the adjustable light.
