Carpet Pieces For Floating Stairs

This stair tread is an affordable and eco-friendly solution to slippery stairways. Staircases both indoors and outdoors can make people susceptible to slips, trips, and falls on a regular basis. For commercial business owners, this can result in property damage, costly medical bills, or disastrous liability cases. You can protect the sensitive surface of your stairs while preventing injuries to those traveling on them with this rubber stair tread. This heavy-duty rubber stair tread is specially designed to maximize safety and protection on commercial stairways. This durable mat for stairs is made from a blend of natural and reclaimed rubber materials to give them excellent resistance to abrasions, moisture, and weather. These qualities allow the rubber steps to withstand heavy foot traffic and exceed in outdoor applications. The key feature of this stair tread is the unique “Diamond-Plate” pattern, which is comprised of thin protrusions to enhance traction and provide a clean industrial aesthetic. The protrusions alternate in a direction to offer multi-directional slip-resistance even when the stairs are wet. Whether you need to increase safety for the season or year-round, this tread will provide superior protection.

Perfect fit. Couldn’t be better.. Brenda. Sacramento, CA. Fri Mar 10 2023

The Non-Slip Washable Indoor Stair Treads are awesome! I had old wooden steps and they are about years old. These were shipped speedily and were easy to take the plastic off the back and the sticky stuff on the back adhered to my steps immediately! Which was great. It literally took me 20 minutes to put them on. And look at the difference! Love these . Plus they are lightweight and WASHABLE! In Wisconsin you need that expecially in the winter time! Love these. I wouldv'e however liked them more if they were a differnt color because these will show alot of dirt. But throw them in the washer and your all set!. Peggy. El Cajon, CA. Wed Oct 21 2026

Provide a great grip and skid resistance on your stair surface thanks to natural rubber backing. (If you need more security you can consider using a double-sided stair tape which is sold separately and not included) Shipped flat or carefully packed in frustration-free packaging.

These work well. Bought them because our dog was hesitant to go up and down the stairs at first. They really help cushion as you walk down. Good on old knees. :-). Eb. West Bloomfield, MI. Tue Aug 12 2025

Upgrade your stairs with heavy-duty bullnose stair treads designed to provide reliable safety, traction, and durability for outdoor steps, porches, decks, patios, garages, and RV stairs. Each tread features a molded 1-inch bullnose lip that wraps securely over the front edge of your steps, reinforcing the area where slips and trips are most likely. This integrated bullnose improves grip and adds a polished, professional look, making your stairs safer and more reliable than standard flat mats or diamond-plate stair treads. These rubber stair treads deliver superior non-slip performance in wet, muddy, or snowy conditions. They maintain traction on rough surfaces like concrete, brick, stone, and textured RV steps, while also working on smooth surfaces such as wood, painted steps, tile, or metal when securely fastened with tape, adhesive, or screws. Constructed from thick, weather-resistant rubber, these stair treads resist cracking, splitting, and curling, remaining flexible in freezing temperatures and durable under intense heat. Their all-weather construction ensures long-lasting performance even under heavy foot traffic, making them ideal for both residential and commercial applications. These stair treads are designed to fit standard stair edges, providing a reliable solution for most porches, decks, basements, and RV stairs. Steps with oversized or decorative noses may require flat-edge treads, though those lack the edge protection and grip provided by the bullnose design. Installation is simple, and maintenance is low-effort: just shake off dirt, rinse with water, or clean with mild soap. The non-porous rubber surface resists mold, mildew, and stains, keeping your steps safe and ready for daily use. Ideal for homeowners, RV owners, and commercial spaces, these bullnose stair treads deliver a combination of edge safety, superior traction, durable outdoor performance, and easy maintenance. Choosing these treads ensures that your stairs are safer, more stable, and longer-lasting than standard flat mats or diamond-plate step covers. Whether you’re upgrading porch steps, deck stairs, garage entries, or RV and camper steps, these stair treads are the smart, reliable solution for any surface.

These are medium duty stair treads. This is my second purchase, the first set were used on my back stairs and have held up nicely for almost a year and a half and still perform and look good. I stapled them on the back stairs, but don't recommend doing that, the cheapo staples rusted. I used double-sided Gorilla tape on the current installation, I'll revisit this review in a year or so and report on how well the adhesion method held up.. Heather. Big Island, Hawaii. These are amazing! I have slipped down our all wood tread stairs twice. The first time, I broke a coupla ribs. The second time I slipped I was three stairs from reaching the carpeted basement, holding our puppy. This last time I was just furious and fed up with them. I called a carpet place immediately and had someone come out to provide a bid for a runner but then? I just thought I'd check Wayfair. . . Wow. I am SO happy I did and with the help of all the five-star reviews on these, I ordered the closest color and best pattern. They are amazing!!! They adhere well to the treads, they fit the bullnose and I no longer have to clutch the railing like my life depends on it. Not to mention our little furry friend will be more likely to learn to go up and down, with these in place. If this is an item you need? Just buy them. Figure out which ones look best because they probably won't match your existing carpet, and then love your stairs. Also our steps are varying widths. We center the top stair in each flight, and then used a pattern to make sure the distance on the left side (in the image) was consistent. I am a discerning customer and it was important to me that these looked good and felt good under foot. They do both. With a nice finished edge all around, they lay flat and the adhesive makes them grip firmly.. Sue Brandon. Fort Lauderdale, FL. Tue Oct 20 2026

Multi purpose stair mat, can use TPE anti slip backing on dry floors to help it secure to your floor without slipping or wearing down the floor. Low profile design, so the door won't get stuck. Very suitable for families with pets (dogs or cats) or children. Just clean, peel and stick! If you need to reposition or remove it, it will not leave any residue and will always keep the floor intact. And it won't fall off or slide off when it comes into contact with water.

I'm really happy with these stair carpets- it was hard to find ones with the correct dimensions for my staircase which has pretty thick edging, and in the color that matches my painted stairs and is textured. I was worried they weren't going to be soft/cushioned enough, but the cross texture feels comfortable on my feet and adds that extra traction I was looking for. All around a great purchase! *Some things to note- it was hard to peel the thin plastic off the back, so just take your time with it, and make sure the Velcro truly lines up with the carpet edge or it will look crooked and not stick right. When instructions say 2inches out, they really mean that. We were off by maybe 1/16th inch and it wouldn't stay folded underneath correctly.. Anonymous. Sun Jul 19 2026
