Eureka! What a find! This chair came in several pieces, but it all went together just as the instructions said it would. It’s a heavy, well proportioned chair that gives you ample room for comfort. The cushions are thick enough to be comfortable as well. If this chair is going to be exposed to the elements, you will need a cover. The manufacturer also recommends that it not be left outside in freezing temperatures. That makes sense to me, although the woven fibers of this chair feel to have some kind of protective coating. This Wicker Single Patio Dining Chair with Cushion that is made of all-weather polyester fabric that’s resistant to the sun’s UV rays, stains, mildew, and water. These chairs are VERY comfortable, durable and well made. I ordered the first pair of chairs several years ago and liked them so much that I then ordered another pair. Fast forward to present day and I've just received a third set of 2 chairs because after enlarging our deck we finally have room enough for a table and because these chairs have stood up so well we decided to not buy a dining set and, instead, just buy a new table to go with these chairs. The only downside so far is that the original chairs' cushions are lighter now than the last pair of chairs we bought. I'm not sure if it is the same fabric or if they have faded in the sunlight. I was honestly surprised by how much I love this chair. It’s perfectly oversized—super roomy without looking bulky—and makes the space feel way more inviting. The color is even prettier in person than it looked online. It has a warm, natural tone that pairs really well with everything on my porch. I really like this sofa. I got royal blue and it really looks great on my deck. It was packaged great and only took about 30 minutes for 2 people to assemble (the only reason you need 2 people is so one can hold pieces while the other screws them in). All the holes lined up and the parts were perfect. I really wanted a high-backed sofa so I could have my neck supported and doze more easily - and they perfectly fits the bill. I only have 2 minor issues. As another reviewer said, the fabric is scratchy. Now, it's waterproof so It's not going to be super soft but I didn't like the way it felt on my bare arms. It's also hot, which I attribute to the waterproof nature negatively affecting breathability. But, it holds the heat of the day for quite a while after the sun has set. I found the cushions to be thick, firm, and very nice otherwise. But I could slightly feel a vertical bar behind my end/back cushion and it bothers me every now and then. I am a large person but not heavier than the weight capacity of the sofa (by far) so I don't know if my discomfort had to do with my size. I did not purchase the Carolina ottomans - the ones you see in the photos are by the same company but are called Gaetanino Wicker Outdoor Ottoman - I love them. I recommend this sofa!. Lisa.
