Carmel Hall Tree With Bench And Shoe Storage

Other than the extremely long shipping time, this was a good purchase. Assembly was easy. All I had to do is not interrupt my boyfriend while he did it for me.. Linda Anne. Piperton, TN. Tue Mar 29 2022

The Hall Tree Bench is simple, beautiful, and very functional. I didn’t buy it mainly to use as a bench; I bought it to have a convenient place for my bags, keys, and lunch bag, and it works perfectly for that. The shoe compartments are a little limited. They are fine for sandals or flatter shoes, but not really for heels because the space between each section is too small. I ended up using the second compartment for my tall lunch bag, which worked well, but you cannot fit much more in that area. The color matches what is shown on the website, and I’m planning to add a green plant later to bring in a little more color. I really love the look of it. One important thing to know: it comes in a BIG and HEAVY box. If you need room-of-choice delivery, I recommend arranging it directly with customer service instead of relying only on the website. I carried and assembled it by myself, but I definitely agree with the recommendation to have someone help you. Once I opened the box, the instruction guide, tools, and hardware were all included. The directions were easy to follow, and assembly was actually very simple. The hardest part was cleaning up all the protective foam and cardboard used to keep the pieces safe during shipping. I actually enjoyed putting it together with some good music and a beer. Everything is possible! I love this Hall Tree Bench. It is practical, attractive, and works perfectly for what I needed. The pictures honestly don’t do it justice.. Aliuscha. Hialeah, FL. Sun Oct 04 2026

I am a big fan of this hall tree! My apartment doesn't have a coat closet so I've been in the market for something that would help with storing outerwear and shoes. This provides ample space for keeping my entryway items both accessible and tidy. I really like the design with the overhead storage as well. Assembly took a few hours; however, I did it on my own and the instructions do recommend two people. The instructions were very easy to follow, and all of the parts were clearly labeled. The only issue I had was that one of the smaller pieces did not have pre-drilled holes in the proper places. It was easy enough to create fresh holes in the "wood" by holding the piece in place and putting some extra pressure into the screws while attaching it.. Meridith. Thu Oct 01 2026

Okay for the price. Assembly is long and instructions are tricky plus the top part wobbles quite a bit. The support beams just aren't that strong and I didn't want to bolt it to the wall. Happy that I had the option to salvage it by separating it into two pieces, though. So now it's just a shoe rack.. Melissa. New York, NY. Wed Sep 30 2026

It looks just like the image and is solid but there is no way to actually put all 3 together - they don't latch or click. It is 3 separate units. They just sit next to each other on the floor. They are heavy so its fine and maybe easier to clean that way, but it's not one full unit. A bit of a pain to build.. Caesara. Bend, OR. Wed Oct 14 2026

This is exactly what I was looking for. It feels very solid. A bit awkward to put it together but doable mainly because of the Allan wrenches with the ninety degree angle hitting the underside of the wood.. Jane. Fernandina Beach, FL. Wed May 13 2026
