Exactly as described. There was a small piece of wood on one side that popped out when one of the dowels was pushed in, so deducting one star for that. But overall, it is solid wood, feels sturdy, and just as pictured. Be aware that when empty, it feels inclined to want to tip forward. This was reduced when I put cat food at the bottom and weighed it down a bit. If I had small children, I would absolutely use the wall anchor. Instructions were actually easy to follow and straightforward. I didn’t want to deal with two oversized doors that would be cumbersome to open and close, so this layout was much more practical for my space. For the price, I think it’s a great value. It’s obviously not a high-end furniture piece—it’s a simple white laminate finish—but that’s exactly what I expected for around $175. The laminate is actually a plus in a laundry room since it’s easy to wipe clean and doesn’t seem like it will show wear as easily as painted surfaces. My husband assembled it without any issues, and it feels sturdy enough for storing all of our laundry essentials.
