This Gesture chair was designed by Steelcase to be confident, intentional, and highly evolved with simple sophistication. The design was meant to inspire confidence that it would deliver a great experience time and time again. The key design driver was to fundamentally rethink the chair based on the movement of the human body and the way we work today. Gesture won the Neocon Gold Award in 2013.

Very happy with the colors I chose. Quality of material is high. It arrived pre-assembled in a giant box. It was well wrapped and there's not a nick or scratch on the chair. Since working from home I burnt through a $400 chair in 2.5 years. I decided to make the investment in a higher quality chair. So far when I sit in it my sciatica goes away and my body is just immediately comfortable. I'm only 5'3" and my feet can actually firmly be on the ground. Very happy that I went with the Gesture. It adjusts to fit my height and the arm rests come in closer. I think this chair would still be great for average height people, but it's adjustable so that it works for smaller builds too.. Sg. USA. This modern, leather side chair elevates any space. Designed for effortless mobility with smooth -rolling casters and a convenient swivel feature, it offers both practicality and sophistication. Ideal for adding a touch of elegance to a home office, study, or living room.

I'm 6' 3" and about 240 pounds so was looking for a solid desk chair to support my needs. I'm in the home office for several days a week. I specified this chair to support my needs and was sick of several prior faux leather chairs which had deteriorated in prior years. PROS: (1) product quality - very well built and genuine leather is very well fabricated. Chair definitely is in the professional office quality family and should last for a long time, (2) ease of assembly - instructions are very simple and took me about 30 minutes to assemble; every component is well engineered and manufactured. Constructed chair is heavy and feels solid. (3) Color of product / appearance could not suite my office better - looks professional from any vantage point which is important given chair position in our house. (4) Seat features related to elevating chair and rocking are both functionally very well engineered but also is not an eyesore; (5) definitely a professional chair feel from a comfort perspective and able to work 8+ hours a day. CONS: (1) Chair is more on the stiff side from a seat cushion perspective, so this is not a lazy chair that you will fall asleep in by any means. The seat is slightly firmer than I would prefer, but nothing that would cause me to return or be dissatisfied - also only have owned this chair for 3 days so hopefully it breaks in a little. (2) Not a problem for me or con, but make sure the seat dimension from depth and width is suitable for your body size (perfect on depth for me and close on width - would prefer another inch honestly). All in all very satisfied with purchase!. Tom S . North Carolina. Sun Jan 07 2024

This swivel office chair pairs a sculpted silhouette with an open-back design to update your workspace. It rests on five smooth-gliding wheels that allow you to roll between tasks without disrupting your workflow. Plus, a full 360° swivel function provides effortless movement around your station.

My new chair arrived on time, in perfect condition, with fantastically easy to follow directions, and even a pair of white gloves! It was exactly as pictured on the website and is a wonderful addition to my home. Thanks Wayfair!. Judi. Bernalillo, NM. Fri Oct 23 2026

Spend hours at your desk? You deserve a chair that supports you without feeling stiff or stuffy. Perfect for your home office, work desk, meeting room, conference room or even an executive space.

Well, it is a nice chair. Very comfortable and looks just like an original Eams executive chair, but, without a tug of $4K+. I only taking a point away because it is not a genuine leather... it is faux and need to say so.. Alla. Manhattan Beach, CA. Wed Aug 05 2026

I love the chair!! Very roomy, soft to the touch and the extended leg rest is the icing on the cake. So much better than cold faux leather and absolutely beautiful!! Assembled myself, took about 40-45 minutes.. Tranisha. Tampa Fl. Wed Sep 23 2026

This ergonomic office chair delivers lounge-level relaxation to your space with its padded surfaces and built-in footrest. It's designed with an adjustable lumbar support cushion that provides supportive comfort during long workdays, while the contoured headrest cradles your neck. A smooth reclining mechanism lets you kick back easily when you need a quick break. The slender metal base features dual-wheel casters for effortless mobility across various floor styles. Plus, the integrated footrest pulls out quickly whenever you want to shift into a fully relaxed position.

First off , the box it came in was in terrible shape. Whole back was open, corner torn off. Thankfully all the parts were there and the chair was not damaged. But FedEx- come on . Secondly and Im no newcomer to assembling items, the assembly was not a smooth process. Some of the screws took several attempts to bite . As for the chair itself Ive used it for a couple of days. Its fine. The foot rest is rather flimsy but overall so far Im pleased with the purchase and the price.. Timothy. Saint Johns, FL. Wed Oct 14 2026

On the path to pursuing an outstanding office experience, this luxurious office chair will be your ideal choice and redefine your comfort at work.

This chair is nice real leather and seems to be a good quality, not likely to start peeling quickly. The seat is nice and wide and constructed well. It isn't the most cushioned on the bottom, but good enough for this style of chair. The bolts that screwed in the sides of the cushions for the back were somewhat temperamental to get in the right angle since they were counter sunk in the hole, especially considering the hole in the leather was too small.. Brittany. Wooster, OH. Thu Dec 26 2024

The Steelcase series 2 chair has technology featuring an innovative geometric design that flexes in two dimensions, supporting each part of your spine for responsive, personalized comfort and fit. This model includes an adjustable seat depth, fully adjustable arms (raise up and down, pivot in and out, shift forward and back, and side to side), adjustable headrest, adjustable lumbar, pneumatic seat height adjustment, recline tension adjustment, flexing back with mesh upholstery, and upholstered seat. The seat features strong yet pliable foam which conforms to the body and creates pressure-free comfort. The flexible seat edge offers a bit of bend, right where you need it – relieving pressure points under your thighs. This chair will arrive unassembled and require some assembly covered by Steelcase warranty.

This is my second series 2 . I luv this chair . I have back issue and tried 10 brands before this . Added wrist and headrest cushion to be more comfy. Anonymous. Sat Jul 18 2026

The Serene Ella combines Napa leather with luxurious inserts and waterfall armrests for a refined look. Its pre-shaped foam cushions and S-curve lumbar support ensure all-day comfort.

For a chair that costs over $1,000, I expected so much better! I really want to love this chair, but unfortunately, I was sent what appears to be a customer return. It was literally written right on the box that the customer had refused delivery. The box arrived severely damaged, and when I opened just the first layer, I found shredded Styrofoam everywhere and packaging that had already been opened. At that point, I stopped unpacking it because I honestly wasn't sure what I was going to find underneath or whether the chair itself had been damaged. For this price point, I absolutely expected to receive a brand-new chair in brand-new packaging—not someone else's refused delivery. I'm reaching out to Wayfair now and hoping they make this right because I was really excited about this chair.. Viktoria. Doylestown, PA. Sun Sep 20 2026
