Thais entertainmentbook shelf unit came in 4 huge heavy boxes. Thank goodness my husband had help from my visiting daughter otherwise we would have never gotten them in the house. Hubby opened the first box, hoping to find directions and hardware. We finally found them in box 3. If you like hardware, you will love putting this unit together. My husband discovers all boxes have pieces that go with each aspect of the unit so we would not have room in our living room for assembly. While moving box one down the stairs leading into the garage, my husband pulled his back out. The box landed safely. My daughter and I managed to get to the kitchen. I was looking at a $1600 fireplace. I seen this one for less than $400 and took a gamble and ordered it. I just knew I was going to be disappointed, have to return it.. To my surprise its very nice. It took about an hour to assemble. I am confused about the led lights in the back because there's no instructions for them, I just left them rolled up. I put white stone in there, caulked the seems. I am really happy with the look of the fireplace mantel and insert. The title suggests its solid wood and Id agree that parts are. However, the top was chipped and was not solid wood underneath.
