Carbon Loft Morse Industrial Coffee Table

The Lakela Marble Top & Metal Coffee Table carries the weight of history—crafted from reclaimed iron salvaged from maritime shipwrecks and transformed into a bold industrial centerpiece. The original iron structure has been preserved intentionally, maintaining its utilitarian form, riveted details, and functional wheels. Rather than disguising its past, this piece honors it. Topped with solid white marble, the table achieves a striking balance between raw strength and refined elegance. The smooth marble surface contrasts beautifully against the textured reclaimed iron frame, creating a sophisticated industrial statement suitable for modern lofts, rustic interiors, and curated contemporary spaces alike. The working iron casters reinforce its authentic industrial DNA while offering practical mobility. Each table features natural variation in the iron’s surface and patina—subtle reminders of its former maritime life. No two pieces are identical. This is reclaimed furniture at its most architectural—functional, storied, and impossible to replicate through mass production.

The Lakela Gear Coffee Table transforms industrial history into a functional centerpiece. Beneath its clear glass top lies a curated composition of genuine repurposed steel factory gears—each carrying the weight, texture, and mechanical precision of a working era. Rather than polishing away its past, the aged steel is preserved to highlight authentic wear, patina, and industrial character. The mechanical layout beneath the glass creates depth and visual movement, making the table feel architectural and sculptural from every angle. Solid hardwood folding legs provide warmth and balance against the steel elements. Their substantial profile grounds the piece, blending rustic craftsmanship with industrial design. The proportions remain intentionally unchanged, maintaining a clean rectangular silhouette that fits effortlessly into modern farmhouse, loft, or rustic interiors. No two Lakela tables will be identical. Variations in gear shape, surface texture, oxidation, and tone are expected and celebrated—making each piece a one-of-a-kind conversation starter.

I've bought many pieces on Wayfair and this one is one of my favorites. Feels very solid and looks amazing. I am actually using this as a media console beneath a TV. Another reviewer has mentioned this and I will echo this point: the instructions do not make it clear how the side panels should be oriented before they are installed. It is indeed possible to install them upside down. When you do, you will be unable to attach legs. Before you attach the side panels, Look ahead to the last step to see how the legs should be attached. There will be a hole on each of the side panels that need to be facing towards the bottom of the table in order for these legs to be attached. Be sure to orient these panels correctly or you will be taking the unit partially apart to flip them the right way.. Ryan. Chicago, IL. Mon Jul 08 2024

If it were me I would make ths a 2 piece shipment. It is really heavy and the shipment company struggles with the cheap cardboard outer casing not holding its shape. I like the table and function and finish. I've had to put several longer screws in because the factory stripped the wood out by over tighting. Again a very heavy table, use 2 people for assembly..
