Absolutely beautiful, black, solid wood table! It is not engineered wood or cheap MDF. Very easy to assemble. Just add the four legs. One of the two support pieces that go on the underside of the table came unattached during shipping but it was easy to rescrew it back into place. This is one of the best purchases we have made from Wayfair. It is MUCH nicer in person - super high quality and very durable. We've had this for 5-6 years now and it still looks brand new. The 60" table IS huge - so make sure you have enough room for it, and that whatever area rug you get, allows for chairs to be pulled out for seating. I spent a long time looking at dining tables before finally ordering the Gael table in black, and I’m really happy I did. The first thing I noticed was how nice it looks in person. The black finish is clean and modern, and it honestly looks way more expensive than it actually is. It’s one of those pieces that makes the whole dining room feel more put together. The table is also much sturdier than I expected. It’s heavy, feels well made, and doesn’t wobble at all. The size is perfect too. It comfortably fits our family with plenty of room left over, but it doesn’t take over the entire room. Assembly was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I put it together by myself without any problems. The instructions were easy to follow, and everything lined up the way it should. Overall, this has been a great purchase. It’s good quality, feels solid, and has the high-end look I wanted without spending a fortune. If you’re thinking about buying it, I definitely recommend it.
