This unit is HUGE. If you have a room without a closet, this will definitely suffice as a wardrobe/closet replacement. All of the doors are push to open and then soft close. Lots of cubbies, shelves, etc. for storage. It has a nice, simple exterior to match lots of different styles. Assembly took HOURS. This was not for the faint of heart. If you can hire someone, do it. While an electric drill is not required, I am recommending one. I would have blisters if I didn't use one (there are, no exaggeration, hundreds of screws). The good: - Wood quality and appearance - Matches the descriptions - Beefy packaging ensured very few damages (I guess they read the other comments) The bad: - Difficult to assemble: this is not for inexperienced assemblers. The instructions are rudimentary and you must use all clues in the drawings to correctly build this. Took me 4 hours of focused work, and that was not including unpacking and staging. - Two parts (15 and 16) had their label markers inverted, which was actually a fairly big problem and cost me 20 minutes. This was my first furniture purchase through Wayfair. I read the description carefully and liked that the chest had some real wood. Order was delivered within a few days. Only thing I didnt like was since it was delivered by Federal Express boxes for this plus 1 dressers were left outside . Heavy items to bring in. I opted for the assembly service and so glad I did! The Armoire adopts a contrasting color scheme. Its main body is a sophisticated black, while the upper halves of the doors feature a natural wood grain finish, complemented by long gold handles. This combination creates a retro yet refined look that harmonizes with various home décor styles.

Overall this is a great piece. Instructions are good, build time is not bad at all and only takes one person for 98% of it. Well packaged. Once built, it's quite sturdy. The wood tone is sharp, great contrast to the black. The gold handles miss the mark. The gold is incredibly bright and brassy yellow, dated. If they had gone with a softer tone of gold this piece would've been better. But it's an easy fix. The doors aren't the easiest to open and close, they feel a little cheap, and a few pieces of the hardware came broken (cheap quality). We didn't install the clothing bar, we have other plans for use of this piece. Overall a it's a pretty good value and a piece I'd recommend for a cheap yet functional and fairly stylish option.. Exactly like the photo. I like it! Be careful when u build it because it does scratch easily. Also, the doors are a little off so it looks bumpy when you try to close it.
