The chairs are very nice and seem to be good quality. The seat cushion is very firm but will hopefully break in over time. The assembly is ridiculous. Based on someone elses review about the difficult assembly we decided to pay for the assembly as part of the purchase. Based on 4 chairs, the price was 191 for an hour and 45 minutes. The guy actually needed an extra 2 hours to complete the assembly of all 4 chairs, so we had to pay an extra 200. Wayfair needs to adjust assembly time in the purchase process. It's a decent chair. Not bad, but not exceptional either. Pro: It looks very nice, and is made of solid wood. Con: The chair, while made of solid wood, creaks ever so slightly when I sit on it. Now, I'm not worried about myself breaking it, as I only weigh 135lbs. But if I was significantly heavier... I wonder how long it would last. Overall: at time of writing, I reviewed the various options, and this was the nicest quality chair on Wayfair in this price range and in the finish that I wanted. These chairs are sturdy, beautiful quality, very leather-like. I struggled putting them together to the point of calling Wayfair believing the seat was too large for the back of the chair. Eliminate frustration by keeping the legs when attached quite loose. This allows you the opportunity to manipulate the back of the chair into its proper position. Once the back of the chair is attached, go and tighten up the legs. Although I originally didn’t tighten all the legs all the way…they were still too tight to manipulate. I love these chairs just what I was looking for. The delivery was not the greatest I had a time frame for delivery between 10am and two I never got them till 3:30 pm a call would have been appreciated to let us know they where running late.
