Originally bought for dining area but decided to use it in my foyer. It's absolutely gorgeous!!! These are beautiful! I bought two to hang over a long dining table with 12 foot ceilings and wow, what a difference it has made in the room. My husband had no issues installing the fixture. What was time consuming was hanging the shells. I did purchase 2 lights, and one of the lights did have a number of broken shells. I had to use the extras in both packages to try to complete the one chandelier. I did reach out to Wayfair about the number of broken shells and replacement pieces are in the process of being sent. One chandelier had minimal breakage which made hanging the shells less time consuming. They do sounds like windchimes if there is a breeze or hit by a vent blowing air, but nice. This chandelier is STUNNING! I ordered this item quite some time ago and had to wait until my home renovations were near completion before installing. We installed it this weekend and I cannot believe how beautiful it is! It does really take 2 people to install all of the shells, it is very tedious (but worth it!). My only critique is that I wish the rings that fasten each shell piece together was the same color as the rest of the fixture, they are silver and the rest of the chandelier is gold.
