I ordered this Shade Replacement Canopy for its name. I lost 2 of three huge spruce trees in my yard. Meanwhile we have now got 90” heat while I am trying to rehab the sudden parched weedy dirt whey used to call home. This is my first attempt at stringingsomethin like a Sail for shade, really, for any purpose. It was surprisingly simple, more than I thought The canopy I ordered is the green shade which is sparkly in it synthetic woven fabric. This shade cover seems like a good quality. Comes with rods, if you need them for extra support and weight. Plenty of hardware and they have zip ties included, nice touch! Was looking for something to help protect my kitchen vegetable garden from the Florida sun, I have vegetables that require full sun, but it’s just too much for them here. This worked out perfectly. I strung it up with some error, cord, and attached to some 4 x 4 posts. The post are 2 feet higher on one side to allow for a little more morning, sun and afternoon shade, and to help keep the cloth from dipping too low. Why didnt I buy this shade sail earlier I cannot believe how much it has cooled our pool and how much more comfortable we are when we are outside. My 26 yr-old son even commented about how surprised he was when he got in the water today to escape the 96 degree temperature. He was surprised that the water felt cool instead of like a sauna!
