Oh my! This umbrella is HUGE. I misread the description and thought that there would be a base with it but you have to either buy a weighted based or a mount that goes into the ground. I finally located the base that this umbrella is compatible with (you fill it with water) but I’m inclined to think it may not be enough counterbalance when the umbrella is in its full extended version. Great Umbrella! Easy to assemble and took about 15 minutes. The base does require sand to keep it secured, but it comes with heavy duty canvas sand bags that fit inside the square base. The hand crank to open and close it turned easily and fully extended it covers a lot of space. You do have to play with the clamp/arm to get the angle you want, but its easy to operate. I wish they had provided slightly larger tie strings as they barely go around the umbrella to secure it while down. A piece of velcro fixed that issue. I got the khaki color and it a nuetral color.. This is a monster! Great coverage of our ten seater dining table , love the 360 and the tilt mode. It took three adults to put it together it is massive and is a bit tricky , maybe finicky when opening it but once it is open it’s fantastic and provides excellent shade. Make note the base needs to have weight added to it I think the minimum is 660 lbs! We used landscape fabric and some rubber weight plates then covered with rocks and then black river rock . Very nice umbrella, with thick durable fabric and was fairly easy to assemble. It’s huuuge when opened but does not come with a base so I didn’t want to keep it open for long. I did order one so I’ll update photos when it arrives!
