Just what we needed for our new 12’ x 12’ cantilever umbrella to be able to move it around. Very big and sturdy base that supports the umbrella well. The only issue my husband was worried about was the fact smaller rocks could easily fall out through the large hole screen it comes with in the bottom of the squares. It is an awesome cantilever style umbrella, it is heavy and really easy to put together two observations is that the cover for the base is not included, so you have to be careful not to trip over the cross base. Upon some quick research it is possible to buy here on Wayfair too so you don’t have to make two separate orders. The other thing is that I still haven’t figured out how to prevent it from moving side to side with the wind but that is most likely user error. Overall is an excellent deal and a great products. As the rating scale indicates, this is JUST WHAT I NEED. For years, I have used cement paving stones to secure our giant umbrella. But those got very dirty. In comes this base. As shown, it is four pieces that securely fit on my cantilever umbrella. They were extremely easy to fill and not too heavy for me to carry myself. The water seems to be sealed in there tight. I have been needing to get a new base for our umbrella for a while now. When I saw this one, I knew it would be the right choice. The base is very large and made of really thick plastic. It apears to be very durable and super easy to assemble. We have not put it up yet because we are in the middle of hurricane season. As soon as we are given the all clear signal I will be super excited to be able to sot under my umbrella once again.
