Canopy Waterbed

Strobel’s “Aspen” hard-side waterbed mattress set is a complete, upholstered, wood-frame waterbed. The Aspen waterbed set includes a premium Strobel “hydro-support 1600” semi-waveless waterbed mattress, standard pedestal (black), wood decking, upholstered frame (side rails, headboard, and foot rail), hard-side heater, fill & drain kit, waterbed conditioner, and a heavy-duty stand-up safety liner. Strobel’s “hydro-support 1600” is a waveless waterbed mattress with 4 layers of internal, full-body support fiber as well as an additional 3-layer lumbar support, a deep molded surface for pressure reduction and greatest conforming comfort, 4-way tethered corners to prevent internal shifting, heater compatibility, underside seams for greater durability, 25mm vinyl, and reinforced corners. The gentle warmth of a Strobel waterbed can relax and rejuvenate sore tired muscles. In the summer the bed can keep you cool. When you turn down the temperature controller the mass of water creates a convection current that gently pulls the heat out of your body and cools you. The heater pad features stranded copper/nickel alloy resistance wire heating elements for the longest life, not cheaper etched aluminum foil-like other heaters. At the end of a long hard day, you finally get to lie down on your Strobel waterbed. You feel “ah” finally. A feeling of peace and tranquility comes over you as you notice the bed caressing and conforming to every curve and shape of your body and supporting your back. You notice the gentle warmth as your previously tense muscles begin to relax. You feel weightless, dreamy, and secure, as your mind calms and you drift off into a state of total relaxation. As you begin to fall asleep you think to yourself: “I am so glad I bought a Strobel waterbed.” item is handcrafted. Strobel waterbeds do not require toxic flame retardant chemicals like other mattresses to comply with federal fire safety regulations.

I bought this bed for my son. He loves it. He has had a water bed before and said this one helps him sleep, and he feels that it’s better for his bad back.. Cheryl. Myrtle Beach, SC. Mon Apr 28 2025

Complete foam padded wood frame waterbed. Comes with frame and your choice water-mattress, solid state heater with controller, safety liner, wood deck, fill and drain kit with conditioner, and pedestal. You can also use a full drape bedspread to cover waterbed frame if you choose. Bed is all wood wrapped in thick foam, and covered in your choice of quality upholstery material. In addition to a great look the foam cushions the rail to ease getting in and out of bed and sitting on the edge. This eliminates the need for separate rail caps. Strobel Hydro Support Waterbeds feature our Feathertop deep moulded surface. While most waterbeds do not have a moulded surface ours is deeper moulded than any other on the market, this creates more surface area of vinyl and gives better true water support. The stretched tight surface of other waterbeds and softsides can give a hammock or trampoline effect which supports you and not the true conforming water. The Feathertop gives the lowest skin pressures and no pressure points for greatest comfort and best sleep. Hand Crafted in USA

A waterbed is a unique and comfortable option for those seeking a personalized sleeping experience. And if you're looking for a waterbed that provides a wave-less sleep surface, you might want to consider the 95% waveless waterbed with five layers of wave reducing fiber. This waterbed features five layers of wave reducing fiber, which work together to provide a wave-less sleep surface. The fluid support system in a waterbed is what makes it so unique and comfortable, but waves can sometimes disrupt the sleeping experience. The five layers of wave reducing fiber help to minimize the formation of waves, allowing you to sleep peacefully and uninterrupted. In addition to its wave-less design, this waterbed is also customizable, with temperature-controlled bladders that allow you to regulate the temperature of your sleep surface. This feature can help to ensure a comfortable sleeping environment, regardless of the time of year or the climate in your area. Another benefit of this waterbed is its reduced pressure points. Unlike a traditional mattress, which can put pressure on your joints and muscles, the fluid support system in a waterbed evenly distributes your weight, reducing pressure points and promoting a more restful night's sleep. When it comes to durability, this waterbed is built to last. Its construction is designed for long-lasting comfort and fluid support, so you can enjoy a comfortable sleep surface for years to come. The 95% waveless waterbed with five layers of wave reducing fiber is a great investment in your sleep comfort.

Strobel Sof-Frame Complete Waterbed. Finally a regular waterbed with a soft frame. Yes true wood frame waterbed sizes, depth, length, and comfort. A soft comfortable sitting edge and makes it easier to get in and out of bed. A soft and comfortable edge if you roll into it while sleeping or roll out of when you get up. No need for padded rail caps that are not very padded or comfortable anyway. The soy-Based all-foam frame is reinforced with an inner Polymer Band so the frame resists bowing and holds its shape. Polymer Band gives when you sit on it but resists lateral pressure from waterbed mattress. Old style soft-side waterbeds are the same size as regular beds and the foam rails reduce your available sleeping area, plus the covers and less vinyl area can create a hammock effect that reduces the comfort of the waterbed. No cover required so you can experience the true comfort of the waterbed. Uses waterbed sheets and bedding. The bodies are over 90% water. Strobel waterbeds achieve nearly 0-Gravity. This results in less pressure on your body. Strobel water mattresses go a step further with their unique deep molded "Feathertop" pressure reduction surface. The "Feathertop" surface relives surface tension and further reduces pressures to allow for true flotation sleep, so your body and muscles can truly relax. Strobel Hydro-Support water-mattresses also feature reinforced corners, a 4-way tethered waveless system to prevent shifting, bottom seams to relieve pressure on seams, thermally efficient heater compatible bottoms, and added lumbar support for better back support.

I just love this waterbed. I have hydrocephalus and its perfect for me. Sleeping is so much more comfortable when you have migraines and these health issues. No pressure point issues and it truly is like sleeping on a cloud.. Mabel. Red Lion, PA. Thu Sep 18 2025

Cons: I bought this waterbed. It said it was complete waterbed. It's not. I had to purchase the box springs separate. I was expecting a pillow top on it. All it had was a slippered cloth top. So your body laying on the waterbed mattress. Also the description says it has duel heaters. Mine only came with one. Called Wayfair and they put in an order for the other one. It's been almost a month and I still don't have it. Pros: There's nothing like sleeping on a waterbed! I love this mattress! The heater I did get works great. It's has thick cushioned sides instead of hard boards like the old time waterbeds. I don't know if I'd buy again or not.. Kimberly. Centerville, KS. Thu Jan 21 2016
