This canopy worked perfectly for a backyard BBQ. It provided plenty of shade and space for our guests, and the sidewalls were a nice bonus for extra coverage when needed. We ordered this canopy because its 12x12 as opposed to the normal 10x10 that is available at your local big box store or sporting goods store... the blue stores lol. We like that it has an enclosure because it will be perfect for winter cigar smoking. However, upon putting it together, the 4 side panels are difficult to line up and it would take quite some time and adjustment to actually seal the corners and keep cold air out. I dont think we will end up using it for the originally intended purpose after all. The one push easy up is pretty nice. Its far more user friendly as a shade structure than the ones from the blue guys. The frame itself is bowed a bit in the top support structure, indicating that the pieces dont quite fit right. Don’t freak out if the box it comes in has the wrong dimensions printed on it. The one I got said 10x10, but I ordered 10x12. I had to Google it, and I read that as long as the stickers with the QR code says 10x12, it’s probably going to be the right size. They just use the same box for multiple sizes. The color was true to the photos, on the site. The fabric is a good weight, and quality. The only thing that would make it better, is if there was more velcro on the tie backs, so it would be more adjustable. I had to leave it loose. Also, some thin ties at the bottom would have been nice, to help keep it from lifting as much, when it’s really windy, and raining. It rained after installation, and the water did bead up on the fabric, so it is water resistant, like they say in the description. Over all, it is a quality product!
