This is really beautiful and seems well made and very sturdy. Delivery was awesome. Very polite, professional guys unloaded it from their truck, fully assembled, and placed it in the room. 4 stars, rather than 5 because the mattress is VERY firm. I slept on it the first night, as a test. Too hard. Last night, though, I slept on it with a good mattress topper, and it was perfect! This bed frame is absolutely gorgeous! It is heavy duty, high quality, and will last for years to come. It does require a boxspring. We ordered a 5” one because we have a 12” mattress. The headboard is a soft beige material with a good amount of padding to rest your back and be comfortable. The wood is a taupe wood with light texture and has rope accents to add an organic element.
