They are suitable for everyday use or can be stored away for special occasions.

I like this set a lot, BUT it has started to show spots after less than a week of use. Nothing major so far but still annoying. Technically it does say to hand wash or not use heat drying in the dishwasher, but like for real who’s doing that with silverware They feel nice in your hand though and have a good weight once you get used to it.. I needed to replace daily flatware that was beginning to bend and show its age. These are wonderful. They’re a good heavy weight. They do not feel flimsy at all like a fork tone could bend.. Elizabeth. Fenton, MO. Mon Oct 19 2026

The Mikasa French Countryside flatware set is a quaint design, versatile enough to coordinate with multiple decorating styles. It has a highly polished finish which I plan to hand wash and dry most of the time, although Im sure it would hold up well in the dishwasher. The weight and balance is good, but I find it slightly more cumbersome to use than another set I have. In my pictures I show another older European sized set that is slightly larger, and a vintage set that I consider human sized, along with the Mikasa set in the center. I would prefer to buy American made these are made in Vietnam. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and Wayfair has competitive prices and fast shipping.. Ritzby. USA. Mon Sep 14 2026
