Always like Calphalon products and this set was perfect. I'm moving into a new apartment and needed numerous different kitchen utensils. Great pots and pans for the price never know what to buy anymore but this set I have purchased several times, they last several years with 4 hungry boys that torture them, dropping them using metal utensils cutting steaks in the pan with a sharp knife and the pans still keep on cooking….end of buying new set every 3-4 years not from the pans failure but from the kids torturing them and even then it’s just a skillet or 2 not the whole set… now we have lots of great pans…use them every day!!!. These utensils work very well in my small kitchen, and have plenty of utensils. I was hoping for stiffer spatulas (they are a soft teflon material) to use with my Hexclad cookware frying pans all of the other utensils will work great with the rest of my cookware (pots). The mixing bowl sets each have lids that seal very easily and have a tight fit. One of the bowls has grater attachments and the bowl lid has a circular hole in the bowl lid they fit in and make slicing different food items into the bowl.
